I will be in the water for a long time. I will also see the Eiffel tower and go up inside. I promise I will post pictures of fish and old buildings. Have you ever travelled far? I am nervous because I will miss my friends. I would like you to write back and tell me how you're doing.

Not to worry Aethan, we will write to you lots, and we'll be thinking about you on the boat even more often that we write. Grandma is taking good care of your Hershey pillow collection! See - you haven't even left yet, and I'm writing to you!!

I am so excited for you and your family. Your trip will be such an awesome experience and something you will remember for the rest of your life!! Since I am retiring from Woodlin in two days, I will have lots of time to check out your progress and all the fun you will be having. Thanks for sharing your card with me. I already have you as one my favorites!! Take lots of pictures and write back when you get on board, ok?

Dear Aethan- It took me awhile to post this, but grandmom and I have been reading your site entries--actually reading and re-reading them. It is great to have this tool and find out what you are seeing, tasting, and doing in your travels abroad. I found it interesting that you could get along and play with children over there; I guess sign language is universal, so you can jump in with kids, whose language is different, and still be a part of the game! I had a nice 4th of July, quiet, with Gary; I made a nice Italian dinner and we watched the Phiilies baseball game on TV. I don't like fireworks. They make me jump every time I hear the explosion and I'm exhausted by the time the display is over. Oh, well. (Grandmom went to Aunt Ruth's and went to a baseball game with them).
